These terms govern purchases from OpsReady Store and use of OpsReady digital products. Nothing in these terms affects rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Products and delivery
OpsReady provides digital business, operational, safety and compliance resources including templates, policies, checklists, registers, training materials, spreadsheets and guidance documents. Unless expressly stated otherwise, products are supplied digitally and no physical product will be posted.
Orders and payment
You are responsible for providing accurate information when ordering. Orders are subject to successful payment and legitimate fraud, pricing and technical checks.
Licence
Unless a product page states otherwise, purchase grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use and adapt the product for your own internal business or organisational purposes. You may customise editable documents, add your organisation's name and logo, print documents for internal use and provide relevant completed documents to employees or contractors for legitimate internal use.
Prohibited use
- Reselling OpsReady products or substantial parts of them
- Redistributing original templates to unrelated third parties
- Uploading files to marketplaces or file-sharing services
- Offering the templates as your own commercial product
- Sharing a purchased pack with unrelated businesses
- Using the files to create a competing template pack for sale
Consultants wishing to use OpsReady templates across multiple unrelated client businesses should contact us regarding appropriate licensing.
Compliance resources
Templates must be reviewed and adapted to reflect your business, premises, activities, equipment, people, hazards and applicable requirements. Laws and official guidance may change.
No guarantee and no legal advice
Purchase or use of an OpsReady product does not guarantee compliance, approval by a regulator or a particular inspection outcome. Unless expressly stated otherwise, OpsReady resources are practical business and operational resources and do not constitute legal advice.
Customer responsibility
You are responsible for reviewing documents before implementation, completing templates accurately, keeping them current and ensuring appropriate risk assessment, information, instruction, training and supervision.
Updates
Unless a product page says otherwise, purchase does not automatically include every future revision or replacement product.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so. Subject to those rights, OpsReady is not responsible for losses arising solely from a customer's failure to appropriately review, adapt, complete, implement or maintain a template for their own circumstances.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
