Depending on the product, your download may include:

  • Microsoft Word files — DOCX
  • Microsoft Excel files — XLSX
  • PDF documents
  • ZIP folders containing multiple files

The exact contents and file formats are listed on each product page.

  • your logo
  • site-specific information
  • responsible persons
  • procedures
  • review dates
  • other relevant business details

PDF files may be supplied for ready-reference or printing purposes and may not be editable.

Do I need Microsoft Office?

Some products contain Microsoft Word or Excel files, so you will need suitable software capable of opening and editing those formats.

Before purchasing, please check the file types listed on the individual product page.

Which countries do your packs cover?

The jurisdiction depends on the individual product.

For example, some products may be specifically designed for:

  • England & Wales

Our current catalogue includes jurisdiction-specific editions where available. Food Safety packs are available for England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Fire Safety packs are available for England & Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Other products state their jurisdiction clearly in the product title and description.

Always check the product title and description before purchasing.

Are the documents guaranteed to make my business legally compliant?

No.

OpsReady products are practical management and compliance resources designed to help businesses organise their systems and documentation.

Every business is different.

You remain responsible for reviewing and adapting the documents to reflect:

  • your premises
  • your activities
  • your equipment
  • your staff
  • your risks
  • your procedures
  • current legislation and official guidance

Using an OpsReady product does not guarantee regulatory approval, legal compliance or a particular inspection or audit outcome.

Are OpsReady documents approved by regulators?

Unless specifically stated otherwise, OpsReady products are not officially approved, certified or endorsed by regulators or enforcement authorities.

They are practical business resources designed to support good operational management.

Do your products replace professional advice?

No.

OpsReady products are practical operational and compliance resources and do not constitute legal, financial or other regulated professional advice.

Where appropriate, you should obtain advice from a suitably qualified professional.

Can I add my own business logo?

Yes.

Where editable Word or Excel files are supplied, you may customise them for your own internal business use, including adding your organisation's branding.

Can I share the pack with my employees?

Yes.

You may provide relevant documents to your employees, workers or contractors where this is necessary for legitimate internal use within the purchasing organisation.

Can I share the files with another business?

No.

A standard purchase is licensed for use by the purchasing business or organisation.

You must not distribute the original templates or complete packs to unrelated businesses.

Can I resell the files?

No.

You must not:

  • resell OpsReady products
  • redistribute the original files
  • upload them to another marketplace
  • offer the documents as your own product
  • reproduce the pack for resale
  • use the files to create a competing commercial template pack

Can consultants use the documents for clients?

A standard purchase is intended for one purchasing business or organisation.

Consultants who wish to use OpsReady templates across multiple unrelated client businesses should contact us regarding appropriate licensing.

Will I automatically receive future versions or updates?

Not unless the product page specifically states that updates are included.

We may improve or update products over time, but purchasing one version does not automatically entitle the buyer to every future edition or replacement product.

What happens if legislation changes?

Businesses are responsible for keeping their systems and documents under review.

We may update OpsReady products where appropriate, but you should always check that any document you use remains suitable for your business and reflects current requirements.

What is your refund policy for digital products?

Because OpsReady products are supplied digitally, refunds for change of mind are not normally available once the digital content has been supplied or made available for download, where the required consent and acknowledgement have been obtained.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

Please see our Digital Downloads, Cancellations & Refunds Policy for full details.

What if a file is missing, corrupted or will not open?

Contact us and we will investigate.

Please include your order number and details of the problem.

Where appropriate, we will provide a replacement or corrected file.

What if I accidentally buy the same product twice?

Contact us with both order details.

We will review genuine duplicate purchases and take appropriate action.

Can you create bespoke documents?

We may be able to assist with bespoke or customised document requirements depending on the nature of the request.

Contact us with details of what you need.
